A Brief History of the Rock of Salvation Church

Rock of Salvation Church A/G is an Assembly of God affiliated church in the Los Angeles California area. Founded in 1995 by Pastors Joe and Rosalinda Guzman, our goal is to reach English dominant members of our immediate and surrounding communities with the Gospel of the only Savior, our LORD Jesus Christ. Iglesia Pentecostes Roca de Salvacion was founded in 1956 by Pastors Carlos and Maria Elia Guzman whose mission at that time was to provide an outreach to the predominantly "Spanish" dominant members of the Boyle Heights community (We share the same building).

Being that the Holy Scriptures are clear with regard to GOD's great love for all peoples, tongues and nations, and being that Los Angeles is the #1 most diverse city in California, we started this multicultural English ministry in 1995. (We are 5 minutes from Downtown Los Angeles). We love serving Jesus and if given the opportunity, we'd love to serve you. We are focused on worshiping God and equipping the body of Christ for good works.
